L’Oreal describes this liquid liners as making you “Stand out with a dramatically bold or sleek look. Lineur Intense Brush Tip Liquid Eyeliner has a tapered natural brush that allows you to create the most precise lines for your desired eye looks”
The packaging is very sleek and simple with a black tube and gold lid. The wand of the liner is quite long, and on the end is a small brush applicator to apply the product.  I do believe that this product comes in two different packaging types:  felt tip applicator and brush applicator. The shade is ‘Carbon Black’ which they claim as being twice as dark as a regular black – and it definitely is the dark, rich, intense black colour it claims to be.
The formula itself is quite wet, and requires some drying time, otherwise this product can transfer. This liquid liner definitely requires someone with a steady hand as the brush can make application a bit difficult, and if you couple this with the wet formula and the dark black shade, mistakes can be quite messy.
I found that creating precise thin lines was difficult – it does have the ability to do so, but because the brush is a bit flimsy there wasn’t a great control over application. I was doing so well with the thin line, then would get a section that was thicker and have to even out the line – the applicator is a bit inconsistent. Thicker lines are no problem to create and well as winged or cat eye liner, this product does this quite well.  If given the choice, I probably would have preferred the felt tip version of this product, as a stiffer applicator would have been easier to use.
The biggest downfall for me was the flaking of the product. I will admit – I am an eye-rubber – I do rub the corner of my eye during the day, but flaking occurred all along the lash line. More prominently on the outer and inner parts of the eye, chunks of the eyeliner were missing due to flaking of the product, making my eye make-up look messy.
Overall, I was not impressed with this product. L’Oreal has some other fantastic products in their range, but unfortunately this just was not one of them.
