Fancy Fingers with Bows

Bow nail art is so girly and delicate, we figured that a step-by-step tutorial is quite necessary. Read the instructions mentioned below and take as much as you want to get those nail painted perfectly.

Things You Need

Base coat, Top coat, Blue nail polish, Red nail polish, White nail polish, Black nail polish, Fine brushQ-tips, Nail polish remover.

Step 1 - Remove any old nail polish there may be on the nails. Clip, file, and buff your nails to get them ready for the nail art. Wash your hands and wipe them properly before proceeding to the next step.

Step 2 - Apply a clear base coat starting at the cuticle and coming all the way to the tip. Make sure you don't miss a spot. Let it dry (which won't take a long time) thoroughly.

Step 3 - Now, apply 1―2 coats of blue polish on your nails. Depending on which nail polish brand you choose and the number of coats you like to apply, the results will differ.

Step 4 - Now, dip the fine brush in red nail polish and make a cross at the tip of the nails. This will be the first step of making a bow.

Step 5 - Close the ends of the crosses to make 2 even triangles on each nail. Here, you will start filling them with red nail polish. Make sure that the polish doesn't spread outside the triangles; let the paint dry completely.

Step 6 - Clean the fine brush and dip it into black nail polish. Draw a circle in the middle of the triangles and make a thin outline around the bows. Let the paint dry properly or all your hard work will go to waste.

Step 7 - Dip a Q-tip in nail polish remover and wipe the excess polish that may have come out onto the skin. Finally, apply a fast-drying top coat to seat the nail art in place.

The secret to a sexy, beautiful manicure is time and the use of right tools. So, when in doubt, put a bow on it.
